The Field Guide on the Three Star Approach for WASH in Schools provides guidelines for a stepwise approach to improve the effectiveness of  Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene programmes in schools. It complements UNICEF’s broader child-friendly schools initiative and GIZ’s ‘Fit for School’ approach, which promote safe and healthy learning environments.

The Field Guide on the Three Star Approach for WASH in Schools has been translated into the Laotian language to reach countries on a broader scale.
