Beyond the Regional Fit for School Program, from 2016 to 2018 Unilever and GIZ collaborated on a public-private partnership in the Philippines through the develoPPP.de project modality financed by the Domestos Brand and BMZ. This collaboration focused on conducting research on operation and maintenance of WinS facilities and habit formation. Based on the success of this partnership, Unilever and GIZ continue their collaboration with another develoPPP.de project partnership that started in late 2019 to support the improvement of the SDG sanitation indicator related to the availability of usable and gender-segregated toilets in schools in the Philippines.
